The Farm

The farm has been designed with Polo in mind and has been laid out with a large range of post and rail paddocks, canter tracks and a practice pitch.

The land is extremely flat and the very fertile peat soil ensures that the fields are always in excellent condition. The land drain particularly well and yet never goes hard. The grass grows continuously. The fields are well swept and maintained on a regular basis.

We work in close association with Cambridge County Polo Club and Saddleduck Farm forms a part of the 400 acres of equestrian land at Lode. Ensuring that there is extensive hacking available and Polo on most days of the week (during the summer season) and people and horse all over the place.
