Polo

The Farm is a very good base for anyone wishing to play in the East Anglian area. In addition to being situated next to Cambridge County Polo Club, we are within a 20 minute drive of 2 other clubs (Suffolk Polo Club and Cambridge (Haggis) Polo Club) and approx 45 minutes from Rugby Polo Club and Silverleys.

In addition to the club tournaments, there are pay and play games at the various yards at least 2 or 3 times a week during the summer (ranging from 0 to 6 goal).

Due to the concentration of ponies and players in the area, there are almost always enough players to have a knock about on the practice pitches or stick and ball ground.

During the winter months, there is polo in the arena on Wednesday and over the weekend. The club has string of ponies for hire and lessons are also available.

Accommodation

If you would like to come for a full polo experience, Saddleduck Farm has various bedrooms available so you can come and stay and enjoy all that Lode has to offer.

Livery

We offer livery services ranging from DIY to ‘full Polo Livery’ (Match grooms etc) and can accommodate most requests. Please contact us for prices and availability.

We have two full-time grooms and take on extra staff as and when necessary.

There are exercise tracks available, extensive hacking and we will have a horse walker for 2016 spring work up.

The arenas at the club can be used, by arrangement.

Whilst this is principally a polo yard, horses from all other disciplines are welcome. We currently have one show jumper and two top ‘horse-boarding’ ponies at the livery.
